At Friends & Babies Play Café, we want to create a welcoming and inclusive space where families feel comfortable and supported.

We recognise that every family has different needs, and we are committed to making our café and play experience as accessible as reasonably possible.

Access to Our Venue

Please be aware that our premises are located across different levels and we do not currently have a lift. This means that some areas of Friends & Babies may not be accessible to customers who are unable to use the stairs.

We do, however, have a ground-floor party room with seating and a toilet, which may be suitable for customers who are unable to access the upstairs areas.

We understand that visiting a venue with different levels can be challenging for some families, and we are sorry that the layout of the building means we cannot currently offer step-free access to all areas.

We have made the best use of the premises available to us and will always try to help wherever we reasonably can.

If you have accessibility requirements or would like to discuss access before visiting, please contact us. Where possible, a member of our team will be happy to assist and talk through the layout of the venue so that you can decide whether it will be suitable for you and your family.

Additional Needs & Sensory Support

We want Friends & Babies to be an understanding and inclusive environment for children with additional needs.

Our Little Calm sensory space and dedicated sessions have been created for children who may benefit from a calmer environment, additional space or sensory experiences.

If your child has particular requirements, please feel free to contact us before your visit and we will do our best to help.
